Jacqueline and Burton Hutman Mikvah Center

Our Community.
Our Future.
Our Mikvah.

The Property

We are nearly done with construction!

Tentative completion date is June 2025.
The Mikvah's opening date is dependent on rainwater collection and Divine intervention.

The property is located on the corner of Bell Road and 11 Mile Road                    27022 Bell Road in Southfield, Michigan.

Our builder, Trademark Construction Company, is partnered with our Rabbinical authority and MikvahUSA to build a state of the art Mikvah with the highest Halachic standards.

IMPORTANCE OF OUR MISSION

Watch Our Video Here
In recent years the Southfield community has seen a tremendous influx of young families,
but without a Mikvah this growth is not sustainable.

If a Southfield woman’s Mikvah night is on Friday night or Yom Tov, she will need to walk close to 6 miles to Oak Park and back, stay in Oak Park for Shabbos and spend Mikvah night in someone’s guest bedroom, or push off her Mikvah night.
These are not acceptable options.
What we are building is a pillar for our community.
This Mikvah will ensure stability and continuity of our community, and of the Jewish people!

ABOUT US

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose aim is to provide a boutique Mikvah to the broader metro Detroit community, centrally located in Southfield, Michigan.

In profound gratitude and awe we are pleased to announce the renaming of Lahser Road  Mikvah to the Jacqueline and Burton Hutman Mikvah Center.

We will offer a spa-like experience by creating an environment that is both spiritually and physically rejuvenating for women in the southeast Michigan Jewish Community. The Mikvah requires unique building specifications in order for it to be of proper religious use.

To date, we have raised nearly $1,800,000 from the greater Detroit community and from supporters across the U.S. and around the world.

Your donation today will directly impact our ability to complete construction and open the Mikvah for use in the early summer of 2025.
